Lone Tree Slough is a shallow, 67-acre lake located three miles southeast of Graceville in Big Stone County. There is no designated boat ramp but access can be gained from 720th avenue through the road right-of-way. Despite periodic low winter oxygen levels, Lone Tree has provided good walleye fishing for many years. Walleye fry are routinely stocked. The 2024 survey showed a moderate number of walleyes with most from 17 to 26 inches. Black bullheads and yellow perch were also present. Most perch were between 5 and 6 inches, but some were over nine inches.

Lone Tree Slough is a shallow, 67-acre lake located three miles southeast of Graceville in Big Stone County. Management, since 2016, has included regular Walleye fry stocking. There is no boat launch but access can be gained from 720th avenue through the road right-of-way. Despite periodic low winter oxygen levels, Lone Tree has provided good Walleye fishing for many years. In 2022, a trap net survey showed a healthy Walleye population with four year classes and many were 17-19 inches. Other species caught were abundant Black Bullheads and small Yellow Perch.
