Hoffman Pond, also known as Perro's Slough, is a 22-acre waterbody located approximately four miles west and three miles north of Clinton in western Minnesota. Access can be gained from County Road 61 along the pond's western shoreline. There is no boat ramp but small craft can be launched through the road right-of-way. Walleyes are frequently stocked, including some adults. Naturally reproducing populations of black crappies and yellow perch are also present. In the 2024 survey good numbers of walleye were present and they averaged 12.5 inches, with the largest measuring 17 inches. The majority of crappies and yellow perch were eight inches or smaller, but crappies up to 11.5 inches and perch up to 9.5 inches were present.
