WHEN COMPARED TO THEIR RESPECTIVE LOCAL MEDIANS THE PRESENT FISH POPULATION OF PETERSON LAKE IS AS FOLLOWS: THE BLACK CRAPPIE AT 7.75 PER SET WAS SLIGHTLY LOW AND OF SMALL TO AVG SIZE. THE BLUE- GILL AT 9.50 PER SET WAS SLIGHTLY LOW AND OF SMALL SIZE. THE PUMPKINSEED, YELLOW PERCH, GOLDEN SHINER AND YELLOW BULLHEAD HAD VERY LOW POPULATION FIGURES. THE BLACK BULLHEAD AT 70.50 PER SET AND THE BROWN BULLHEAD AT 17.75 PER SET HAD VERY HIGH POPULATIONS. THE HYBRID SUNFISH WAS LOW AT 0.75 PER SET.
