POPULATION IS DOMINATED BY SMLL BULLHEADS, SMALL BLUEGILL, LARGEMOUTH BASS AND YELLOW PERCH. GILL- NET CATCHES OF YELLOW PERCH WERE ABOUT EQUAL TO THE LOCAL MEAN WITH MANY LARGER FISH. TRAPNET CATCHES OF BLACK BULLHEADS WERE 7X THE STATE MEDIAN AND OF SMALL SIZE. BLUEGILL CATCHES WERE 10X STATE AND LOCAL MEANS AND MOST WERE 5.5-6.0 IN WITH NO LARGER FISH. LARGEMOUTH BASS CATCHES IN BOTH YEARS WERE MUCH HIGHER THAN STATE OR LOCAL MEANS, RANGING FROM 9.5 TO 15.0 INCHES IN SIZE. NORTHERN PIKE WERE REPORTED BY ANGLERS BUT NONE TAKEN DURING THE SURVEY.
