This initial survey of Moses Lake found white sucker, fathead minnow, and no gamefish. The shallow depth (3-4 ft) would probably result in mid- to late-summer water temperatures being too warm for trout. Management of the lake for warmwater species would pose too great a risk to trout fisheries downstream (in Kemo and Pine Lakes).
