Northern pike, yellow bullhead and pumpkinseed had high abundance. Rock bass, black crappie and yellow perch were in low abundance. All other species were found in average abundance for the lake class. Northern pike (8.5/gillnet) were abundant and size (2.96 lbs) was average. Median length was 22 inches. Ages 2-5 were sampled and had good growth. Largemouth bass (0.5/trapnet) were taken in average numbers. Ages young of year, 2, 4 and 7 were sampled. Walleye (0.5/trapnet) were average in abundance, but only one fish was sampled-by trapnet. Bluegills (27.5/ trapnet) were present in average numbers and averaged 0.15 lbs. Growth was slow. The 1986 year class was strongest in the sample (37%). Median length was 5.5-5.9 inches. Black crappies abundance was low in trapnets (0.5/lift), but high in gillnets (5.5/lift). Only ages 3 and 4 were sampled. Pumpkinseed (5.25/trapnet) were abundant, size (0.16 lb.) was average and median length 6.0-6.4 inches. Tullibee (cisco) (1.75/gillnet) was present in average numbers but size (0.57 lb) was small. Median length was 11.5-11.9 inches. White suckers (0.5/gillnet) were caught in average numbers, while yellow perch (1.0/gillnet) was present in low numbers. Bowfin (1.75/trapnet) were caught in average numbers. Yellow bullhead (13.25/trapnet) had high abundance, some individuals over 12 inches. One black bullhead was sampled-by gillnet.
