Two runs were made using pulsed DC electrofishing. The first run was from the boat ramp down the state park side of the pond and the second was the return run on the highway side. The most common species encountered were Yellow Perch and Bluegill. Both species were primarily represented by small individuals. Few adult individuals were present though several pre-spawn Black Crappies and a few adult Northern Pike were sampled. Good numbers of adult Bowfin present as well. Collected several small Bowfin for Mussel propegation team. No clear indication of winterkill noted, but overall lower than expected numbers of Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, and Black Crappie were sampled. Several small Bowfin were collected for mussel propagation team.
