Fish species sampled in the 2004 assessment were: white sucker, yellow perch and common shiner. Yellow perch were sampled in fairly high numbers and averaged about 6.5 inches; however, several fish over 10 inches were sampled with fish up to 12.2 inches observed. Brook trout were air stocked into this lake in 2002; however, it appears that this stocking was not successful as none were taken in the assessment. There is no developed public access to this lake; however, the lake can be accessed from Lake Twenty Three via a connecting channel then across public land. There is no marked trail.

Cramer Homestead Lake is a small (23 acre) dark water lake lying at least 0.75 mile from any road. The only gamefish sampled in the 1997 survey were yellow perch and pumpkinseed. Yellow perch are present in average numbers but most are too small to interest anglers. Pumpkinseed numbers are low and the size is small averaging about 6 inches. White sucker are very abundant and several minnow species are common. Cramer Homestead Lake has never been stocked with gamefish.

Gillnet sampling indicate that the fish population is dominated by roughfish, including White Sucker (two times the area average). Common Shiner (17 times the area average) and Yellow Perch (1.6 times the area average). Creek Chub and Pumpkinseed were also sampled. It is probable that a variety of minnow species also inhabit the lake. The lake has poor access, and management is not justified at present. With the poor temperature/oxygen conditions for trout, and migration of roughfish from the inlet and outlet preclude reclamation.
