FISH POPULATION INDICES ARE BASED ON TRAPNETS ONLY SHORTNOSE GAR, BOWFIN, GIZZARD SHAD, NORTHERN PIKE CARP, QUILLBACK, WHITE SUCKER, GOLDEN REDHORSE, LARGEMOUTH BASS, WHITE CRAPPIE, BLACK CRAPPIE, YELLOW PERCH, AND FRESHWATER DRUM WERE FOUND AT ABOVE LOCAL MEDIAN LEVELS. GREEN SUNFISH WERE SAMPLED AT BELOW MEDIAN NUMBERS. A COSMOPOLITAN FISH POPULATION EXISTS IN PIG'S EYE LAKE AS WOULD BE EXPECTED OF A LAKE WITH A LARGE CONNECTION TO THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER.
