Fish populations were dominated by very high numbers of yellow perch, followed by northern pike and white sucker. A few golden shiner and pumpkin sunfish were also captured. The average length of northern pike (29" was very high for the area. A few very large (12") perch were captured. Yellow perch reproduction is very good, although no age II perch were captured. Yellow perch growth is slower than average for the area.
