Dissolved oxygen and temperature were sampled in Beartrack Lake on August 17, 2016. This data was collected as part of an assessment of Lake Trout habitat suitability during the peak of the summer. This sample showed that optimum habitat conditions for Lake Trout existed from 23 to 36 feet in depth. Over 1/4 of the water column provided optimum habitat. Water quality sampling in July of 2001 had similar results with optimum conditions existing from 21 to 35 feet deep, and in July of 2000 optimum conditions existed from 22 to 40 feet deep.
