SIX MILE LAKE IS CURRENTLY SUPPORTING HIGH POPULATIONS OF BLACK BULLHEADS AND YELLOW PERCH. NORTHERN PIKE AND WHITE SUCKER ABUNDANCE ARE ALSO WELL ABOVE MEDIAN VALUES ESTABLISHED FOR LAKES OF THIS ECOLOGICAL CLASS (#19). ALL OTHER SPECIES EXIST AT OR BELOW MEDIAN LEVELS. THE FIVE WALLEYES CAPTURED WERE ASSUMED TO HAVE EMIGRATED FROM THE EAST SWAM RIVER AS THERE IS NO RECORD OF WALLEYE STOCKING IN SIX MILE LAKE. SPECIES COMPOSITION AND ABUNDANCE IS INDICATIVE OF A EUTROPHIC LAKE.
