Northern pike numbers (9.0/gill net) are above average for area lakes. The dominant age 1 and 2 fish exhibit fast growth while ages 3 and 4 show average growth. Largemouth bass abundance (0.8/trap net) is also above average and growth is an average. ages 2 and 3 were sampled. Bluegill abundance is high (71.0/trap net). Growth is slow through age 4 and average for older fish. Ages 2-8 were sampled. Ages 3, 4, and 6 are dominant in the catch. Hybrid sunfish numbers are also high (7.5/trap net). Pumpkinseed numbers (2.8/trap net) are average. Black crappie abundance (1.5/trap net) is below average for area lakes. Most crappies sampled were age 3 and growth is average. Yellow perch abundance (0.3/gill net and yellow (1.5/trap net) bullheads are found in low numbers for this area.
