PANFISH ARE DOMINATED BY SMALL, SLOW GROWING BLG AND BLC. BLG AVERAGED 59.00/TRAP NET COMPARED TO 131.00/TRAP NET IN 1990. BLG CONTINUE TO BE SLOW GROWING. AVERAGING 4.7 INCHES AT AGE 4 IN 1990 AND 4.9 INCHES AT AGE 4 IN 1992. THREE AGE CLASSES ARE PRESENT - 1,3, AND 4 WITH 1 AND 4 YEAR OLDS DOMINATING. FEW BLG SAMPLED EXCEED 5.5 INCHES, WITH A MEDIAN LENGTH IN THE 4.0-4.4 INCH LENGTH CLASS. BLC ARE DOMINATED BY SMALL FISH, WITH NONE EXCEEDING 5.4 INCHES. BLC CONTINUE TO GROW SLOWLY, AVERAGING 4.4 INCHES AT AGE 3 COMPARED TO THE STATE AVERAGE OF 6.8 INCHES. CRAPPIES ARE REPRESENTED BY AGES 2-4 COMPARED TO THE 2 AND 3 YEAR OLDS NETTED IN 1990. NOP WERE SAMPLED FOR THE FIRST TIME, WITH FOUR FISH NETTED, PROBABLY CORRESPONDING TO THE 8 ADULTS STOCKED IN APRIL 1992.
