The northern pike gillnet catch of 11.5 is fairly high. All but one of the fish sampled were less than 23 inches long. The bluegill population appears to be very high - 219/TN and 32/GN. The size structure of the sample collected was very poor - PSD value of 1. The growth of bluegill is very slow - 4.3 and 5.1 inches at ages 6 and 8.Considering the capture gear used, fair numbers of largemouth bass and black crappie were sampled. Several size classes of each species were sampled. Black crappie up to 14 inches were sampled. One yellow perch was collected during the survey. The growth rates from all species aged are slow.
