STATUS OF THE FISHERY: Lake is dominated by black bullheads. Capture rate for black bullheads was 267/gillnet. Average length for black bullheads was around 6.7". Northern pike were ages 1-5, with 71% age 3 or less, and were very abundant (17.5/gillnet). Growth rates for norther pike were average. Bluegills consisted of ages 3-7 and were slightly above local average in growth and abundance (20.5/trapnet). Black crappies, pumpkinseeds, yellow perch, yellow bullhead and golden shiner were also present in relatively low numbers.
