Northland Pond is a shallow 14 acre pond located in the City of Stillwater. The southern portion was part of the former Jackson Wildlife Management Area that is now in private ownership.Public access is currently available along the North and East shorelines. Casting from shore may be difficult along the east side, anglers looking to shore fish should fish along the north side of the lake. There was low abundance of fish sampled during the 2013 survey (49 fish), likely the result of frequent winterkill occurring in this basin. Six Bluegill were sampled that averaged 7.1 inches in length, several Hybrid Sunfish and Pumpkinseed Sunfish were also sampled. Black Bullheads were the most abundant fish found in this survey.

Northland is a shallow 14-acre pond located in Stillwater. The sport fish community consists of black crappie, bluegill, green sunfish, hybrid sunfish, and pumpkinseed sunfish. Northland is prone to winterkill during harsh winters. Anglers can access the lake and fish along the south side of County Road 12. Panfish dominated the sportfish community at Northland Lake. Bluegill were moderately abundant but of small size. Average length was 5.1 inches with no fish exceeding 6.0 inches. Of the nine crappies sampled, five were larger than 9.5 inches. The crappie population primarily consisted of fast-growing adult fish that were likely individuals from previous stockings. Pumpkinseed and green sunfish both averaged approximately 4.6 inches and were present in moderate numbers. Additionally, hybrid sunfish (average length = 5.5 inches) were sampled in moderate numbers. Brown bullheads were lower in abundance (1.4/trap net) but larger in average size (mean length = 10.5 inches) when compared to sampled black bullheads (4.2/trap net; average length = 6.3 inches). Additionally, two goldfish averaging 3.6 inches were sampled.
