The northern pike abundance of 13/gill net set is high for this area. The local median is 4/gillnet set. The yellow bullhead net indices for both gill and trap nets are 26 times the local medians. Bluegill, pumpkinseeds, largemouth bass and black crappie catch values are near local medians. All of the fish species aged appear to be very slow growing. Natural reproduction appears to be lacking during some years as well.
