Long Lake is nearly devoid of gamefish. Only one pumpkinseed was caught in the survey nets; no other gamefish were caught. Black bullheads constitute the only viable fishery on the lake. The black bullheads ranged from 4.0 to 11.6 inches long and averaged 7 inches. The lake is in the latter stages of succession and is becoming a bog.
