Sjodine Lake has a high population of northern pike, yellow bullhead, pumpkinseed and bluegill. Yellow perch population is low. Age and growth rate of northern pike show all ages represented with most of the fish in ages 3 and 4, growth rates are below normal but within the good growth range. Pumpkinseed has good age class representation with a growth rate 10% below normal. Bluegill population has an age distribution with no age 2 fish shown. Population growth rate shows that the bluegill are stunted. Good spawning for all three species.
