Additional Field Notes: Observed one immature bald eagle, one osprey, one loon, one blue heron, and beaver activity. Caught one snapping turtle with 12 inch carapace.Present Fish Population Status: Northern pike population is excellent but size small. Walleye abundnace is low but they are present in catchable numbers. Black crappie are low in numbers with majority small although some large fish present. Largemouth bass present in fair numbers but were not caught in nets.
