LOCAL REPORTS:POOR FISHING FOR NORTHERN PIKE; MOST FISH TAKEN ARE SMALL. REPORTS FROM LOCAL ANGLER THAT AN OCCASSIONAL LARGEMOUTH BASS IS TAKEN.FIELD NOTES:LAKE STOCKING -1953 - LARGEMOUTH BASS - 88 FINGERLINGS.1955 - LARGEMOUTH BASS - 960 FINGERGLINGS, CRAPPIES - 56 ADULT, SUNFISH - 2 ADULT.SURVEY INDICATES NO NATURAL REPRODUCTION OCCURED FROM BASS OR CRAPPIES.PRESENT FISH POPULATION:THE BLACK BULLHEAD IS MOST ABUNDANT WITHIN A POPULATION. BROWN AND YELLOW BULLHEADS PRESENT IN LESSER NUMBERS. NORTHERN PIKE AND PUMPKINSEED ARE ABOVE STATE AVERAGE NET CATCHES. YELLOW PERCH ARE BELOW STATE AVERAGE.
