Three species of fish were captured during the lake survey - largemouth bass, yellow perch, and walleye. Though not captured during the survey, an angler reported catching a bluegill in 1989. The sample of largemouth bass exhibit a good length frequency, and age and growth analysis indicates that they exhibit a good growth rate. Yellow perch appear to be abundant enough to provide excellent forage for the largemouth bass. The orgin of walleye in Million Lake is unknown.There are no records of winterkill, but some people have stated that Million Lake has winterkilled in the past.
