BLGS WERE FOUND AT BELOW LOCAL MEDIAN ABUNDANCE. THERE WERE SEVERAL BLG SAMPLED WHICH EXCEEDED 6.0 PROBABLY SURVIVORS OF THE SPRING STOCKING OF ADULTS. BLG PSD WAS 38.5. GSF AND WHC WERE SAMPLED AT NEAR MEDIAN LEVELS. BLC WERE ABOVE THE LOCAL MEDIAN NUMBERS. CRAPPIE PSD WAS 93.6. VIRTUALLY ALL CRAPPIES WERE QUALITY SIZE INDIVIDUALS, PROBABLY FROM THE SPRING STOCKING OF CATCHABLE SIZE FISH. ABUNDANT FORAGE IN THE FORM OF FATHEAD MINNOWS MAY HAVE REDUCED ANGLER CATCH AND HARVEST RATES, ALLOWING SURVIVAL OF STOCKED FISH INTO MID-SUMMER. WINTERKILL APPARENTLY ELIMINATED THE BULLHEADS, WHICH WERE KNOWN TO HAVE PREVIOUSLY EXISTED IN MARTHALER.
